Hello there! I’m Jaylee. I’m nothing you can imagine, and everything that is human. Since I was a kid I’ve found something magnetic in the storytelling process; to delve into another being, learn from them, and share their truth. I’m now pursuing a career in film and television. I have a foundation in theatre.
A proud moment for me was participating in The Presentation House High School Theatre Festival with “History in the Making,” a play that I wrote, directed, and performed in (in collaboration with a few of my talented peers). I was awarded “Best Actress,” and we–among other awards–were awarded”Best New Play” in 2010. One of my passions is teaching and working with the incredibly talented kids of The Project Limelight Society.
I am currently finishing my BA at UBC, and have taken a variety of other courses and workshops in theatre, film, and television to round out my education.
