Another month has flown by, and the sharp edge of Autumn’s crisp mornings are in full effect. With new artistic ventures on the horizon, the future is looking bright.  Although I have not found any jobs on the education side of things, I have been picking up performance gigs that are keeping me afloat — I’m also now working at a job I despise with the goal, moving forward, that I’ll never have to do that again.

Training almost daily with my dance, I have found a new sense of confidence in movements that are not traditional to the style I major in.  These new forms of movement are allowing me to create more character and showmanship, and exploiting the range of movement that a 6ft 9inch dancer can have.

All in all this month has been about building the future and setting concrete foundations for the work to come. First of which will be a collaboration with a musician for the ‘brief encounters’ show at Railway club, where we will perform together in an original piece. On top of my passions, I am still in a loving relationship which is growing in directions unforseen and providing a new center for learning about myself.  December will have more action and adventure on all fronts for me, and I can’t wait.
